kick ass boots

Tis the season for boots! Deprived of winter, boots are never a common sight here in tropical Singapore. Infact, I've never been a boots person until this one. When I first laid eyes on these, all logic went out the window and I sucummbed to my impulse. I had to get it! Despite it relative bulkiness, they are pretty versatile and go well with both jeans and skirts. Who cares if my brother thinks it makes me look like a construction worker or that my boss thinks it most suited for Eskimos living in igloos???

So, here they are, my kick ass boots. Now, I just a need a nice occasion....

Awesome Boots! I love to know that I own an article of clothing most ppl have never seen. With the weather on your side you will definatley get an oppurtunity to wear them. I would imagine there is a world of climatic difference from your tropical Singapore to my Freezing New York, although New York has its summer it is infamous for it winters. It gets really cold, or "brick" as we call it. But the cold does not stop us from going out and enjoying ourselves.

Hi Phantom,

I've already worn them! hahaha..i couldn't resist myself. Of course, it garnered some weird stares but i am not too bothered.

which part of malaysia would you guys be visiting? If it's Johor, it's just a hour's ride from here! I wish you guys were visiting Singapore too. I can show you all around then.

Hi S.C, I really like the fact that i own something unique that I can wear every once in a while. This pair of boots is good for keepsake even.

You know, i am so used to the weather here i can't imagine living in a brick cold country. I do however, love all the winter wear that comes along with it. What's the weather like in NY now?
Over here, it's just starting to get rainy.

I can already tell that NY is going to have a winter to remember. The temperature varies a good 5-10 degress throughout the day but it is around 45 degrees fahrenheit up here, which is only a dozen or so degrees above freezing. If its this cold now, theres no telling what January will be like. Last year our winter was pretty bad, my cousin is a real-estate agent and said some of the houses he and his clients looked at had toilet bowls with frozen water in them! You have to know how to dress, its all about the layers!
